Okay ... I think I've spent a total of well over 24 hours on this. <_< It has completely driven me nuts, but I'm so happy with it! It's Rococo again. At one point I couldn't be bothered commenting upon an oekaki of him that I'd just finished, so I gave him a miniature profile instead: "Name: Ro. Age: 327. Nationality: German. Favourite colour: blue. Favourite food: candle wax." It sort of stuck ... ^_^; So I decided to do this. AND IT KILLED ME! He was originally going to have a rose in his mouth, but then I realised that I couldn't draw flowers to save my life, and did that instead. Yah. ._.; I don't like drawing candles, I had (or, rather, chose) to do a whole sheet of them for my Higher Art last year, and I'm still sick of them! My own fault, I suppose. And, urm ... I still want those shoes. :heart:

My brother gave me the two best bits of criticism EVER on this: "Candle smoking makes some really fucked up shit"; and "Stop drawing David Bowie." I've also been told that it "looks like Lemony Snickett", which has made my day. ^_^;

Painter 9 is my new friend, but it's only going to be my friend for another two weeks, because I don't have enough money right now to pay for a non-evaluation copyyy~! ;__;

Pwease pwease pwease give me C&C on this? I'm not sure whether I should keep Painer as my new best friend or just try and improve a bit more with my markers and save myself some money! XO (And I'll love you too, of course. :heart:)

I love this...the mood and the style, everything. Interesting character design, what with the candle wax fetish. ^__^; You have a really great eye for detail, too! You should keep Painter 9 as your best friend; you've got so much talent in it! And then, maybe practice the other things, like flowers, in basic pen and marker. ^_^
(Can't give a better critique since I can't really see the rest of his body. ^_<;;;)

I don't think he looks much like Bowie but he's still gorgeous. :heart: His/your style is fantastic.

K uhhhmm first of all ;_; I saw phantom of the opera the other night and all through it I kept thinking RO RO RO RO cause yeah it was just pretty ._. and yeah this picture makes me think of it cause it had a lot of candles and I'd totally do Ro in an underground lair under a theatre what he's so pretty ;u;

I love how he's smoking a candle that is just so hot right there. Uhh I suck at crits but I think you really should FIND A WAY to jack some painter cause you're amazing at it ;_; I love his cute little smirk and his eyes and his hair and ohgod the lightling and yeah ._. its awesome. uhmm marry me pls.

I love the angle... er... camera angle? (due to the severe lack of camera, I don't think that's the right phrase, but...)
And I also love the shading and colours.
I do hope he doesn't burn himself with that candle...
